My own interest in our device stemmed from a lifelong struggle with seasonal affective disorder (SAD) which began during my senior year in high school and continued throughout my 30's and 40's.  Experimentation with various SSRI's led to dead ends, as I was unable to tolerate the side effects of the drugs I was taking.   

My discovery of this technology on a purely personal level allowed me to treat these disorders and to do so safely, non-invasively and without side effects, and I am grateful for Saul and Bernard Liss for their years of research and bringing the device to market with FDA clearance.

Scientific research performed using our device is ongoing, with double blinded, peer reviewed studies currently underway at Harvard Medical School and other top institutions.  This builds upon the decades of research that has already been published about our technology, which you may read in the Research section of this website.

The past 12 months have seen our prescribing doctor base quadruple.  Doctors at many of the best hospitals in America now prescribe the Fisher Wallace Stimulator to patients who suffer from depression, anxiety, insomnia and chronic pain.  Many frequently report success with patients who never experienced significant improvement from drug therapy.  Our device also works very well in conjunction with drug therapy.  In many cases, doctors have been able to titrate patients off of medication completely.
