FDA-Cleared Depression Treatment
The Fisher Wallace Stimulator® is cleared by the FDA to treat depression, anxiety and insomnia. Used for 20 minutes, once or twice per day, the device works by stimulating the brain to produce serotonin while lowering cortisol. The majority of patients in published studies experienced symptom reduction or remission within two-to-four weeks of daily use, after which the device may be used on a maintenance basis. The device is safe to use in conjunction with antidepressant and anxiety medication, or may be used as a standalone therapy.
