Medical-Grade Technology

The Fisher Wallace Stimulator® is cleared by the FDA to treat depression, as well as anxiety and insomnia. Used for 20 minutes, once or twice a day, the device works by stimulating the brain to produce serotonin and melatonin while lowering cortisol. The device is comfortable to use and reduces symptoms for the majority of patients within two-to-four weeks of daily use.  Do not reduce or cease taking antidepressant medication without first consulting with your doctor.

The Fisher Wallace Stimulator® treats depression and anxiety by stimulating the brain to produce serotonin and melatonin while reducing cortisol (the stress hormone) and calming the brain's Default Mode Network. The device is effective in treating the following symptoms of depression and anxiety:

  • Decreased energy and fatigue
  • Oversleeping or insomnia
  • Persistent sadness
  • Feelings of hopelessness
  • Feelings of worthlessness and/or helplessness
  • Loss of interest in activities and hobbies, including sex
  • Restlessness and irritability
  • Chronic and unsubstantiated worry
  • Repeated, random panic attacks

These symptoms are commonly associated with Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder, Persistent Depressive Disorder, and Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
