I have seen very positive results, often within the first two weeks of using the device. Approximately 75% of my patients who have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, stress related disorders or insomnia have reported positive changes. - Dr. Richard Brown, Professor of Psychiatry, Columbia University Medical Center I have been using the Fisher Wallace device with select patients for about a year. Almost everyone has reported some improvement in sleep and mood. Most remarkable are the patients I have treated for more than a decade who are now experiencing greater relief than ever before. - Karen Hopenwasser M.D., Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Weill Cornell College of Medicine My daughter has used your device for less than a week and I am seeing a major difference. My daughter has too. She has tried multiple medicines, all with horrible side effects. She got to the point that she refused to go on meds. And that wasn't an option given her behavior. She was diagnosed with bipolar disorder just this year. I have known that she was bi polar since she was about 4 years old. After using this device it was almost like someone flipped a switch and she is acting like she did before her disorder really showed. We talked for hours the other day, which we have not been able to do in years. She is able to focus better. The results are amazing. It is like an answer to a prayer. Thank you! - Julie Rosa I've suffered from chronic anxiety for over 7 years. Only recently were my symptoms diagnosed as PTSD. I was very skeptical of the device but decided to try it. When I'm anxious and use the device it is almost like flipping a switch - it reboots my brain back to a resting state of clarity and calm. - Elizabeth, Neuroscientist, New York For the past 11 months I have been in the throes of the most debilitating bipolar depression of my life. I've tried eight different medications and spent countless hours of individual and group therapy. I quit my full-time job and am now on long-term disability. If it wasn't for the love and support of my wife and family, I would have killed myself months ago. I was beyond desperation when I came across your product. I took a chance and asked my psychiatrist to write me a prescription. I first tried your device around 10 pm on New Year's Day. In the week prior I'd often spent half of the days in bed. Hopeless, many evenings I would break down weeping in my wife's arms. I expected it to be half a month or more before I noticed anything, but to my surprise I woke up early on Sunday morning with an immediate sense that something inside me had changed. I felt alive and eager to greet the day. My wife and I could hardly believe it. It's only been five days now, but I already feel like a changed man. In me you have a grateful fan, a true believer. - Zak M. I just wanted to mention what a difference the Fisher Wallace Cranial Stimulator has made in my life. I have been suffering from depression and anxiety and over the last 5 years I have taken over 15 medications that did not improve my mental health in the least. I was convinced that I would never get better and I was contemplating suicide. My psychiatrist changed my medication one more time and I began to feel better. She then recommended I try the Cranial Stimulator to bolster the effects of the new medicine and my mood further improved—dramatically. Not only do I not have suicidal ideations, but I am able to socialize with family members and I no longer have panic attacks. On days that I do not use the Cranial Stimulator I notice that I feel less energized, irritable and less optimistic about my life. I recommend this device to anyone who has any sort of mood disorder. Thank you very much for your help! - Anonymous Patient Initially I was deep in major depression, found it next to impossible to write or do other professional work, and in spite of my own training and experience, found myself contemplating suicide at times. I've been diagnosed with bipolar disorder type II. I had spoken to my psychiatrist about the possibility of stopping my use of Depakote entirely, and about ECT. Through a Google search I came upon your site, and found the information persuasive. The psychiatrist was at first skeptical [but] after she reviewed your material she said simply "I'm impressed," and faxed you a prescription. I used the device regularly for about two months. Most of the time now I feel relatively cheerful, go to sleep more easily and awaken more refreshed in the morning. I've started exercising physically again, and have done more writing in the last two months than I had done in the previous year. While I sometimes feel sad or elated or angry, my affect is now within normal limits. With the psychiatrist's approval, my wife, 60 years of age, is now using the stimulator. I intend now to use it two or three times a week. - Paul Fauteck, Psy.D Like most people, I had no ability to relieve the anguish my 20-year-old son was enduring. Clinical depression and its cohorts, anxiety and insomnia, had a seemingly unbreakable grip on him. I stood watching my son languish in a living hell for five years, hoping the combination of a psychiatrist and pills would stabilize him but to no avail. I read and re-read the literature and finally decided to take a chance on the device. I felt it was a shot in the dark, but had to still hope that somehow it would make a difference. After 3 days, the impossible was witnessed. My son was suddenly motivated and a much more clear-thinking, young man. For the first time since his freshman year in high school, I had caught a glimpse of the young man that had true goals and ambitions and determination. The only way to explain it is to say that it was as if he was somehow fully awakened. I am so overjoyed to report that his use of this device for three months has resulted in a complete miracle. Three weeks ago, he discontinued all medications and is doing fantastic. He is not taking any medications at all for the first time in years. His psychiatrist is nearly in disbelief and he told Tanner that he appears calmer and is a very rare case indeed. Thank you Fisher-Wallace for your efforts to market this unbelievable life changing device. I will forever be indebted. I just wish I would have not been skeptical and purchased the device a year earlier! It is wonderful to have my son back! - Chad Andrews I have had great success using the device to treat severe, chronic insomnia in patients who are resistant to pharmacotherapy. Also, patients who seek a drug-free alternative to treat insomnia have used the Fisher Wallace Stimulator to reduce or eliminate their dependence on prescription drugs. - Dr. Andres San Martin, Professor of Psychiatry, Columbia University Medical Center I have used the Fisher Wallace Stimulator for several years to control pain. I suffer from Sjogren’s Syndrome and Fibromyalgia. I use it twice a day. If I forget to use it, I am reminded because I feel severe pain. I cannot recommend this machine enough. This kind of pain relief is very important, as it has no side effects and it is really effective. - Susan N. "I have had insomnia all my life, as did my father and grandfather. Seeking relief, I resorted to taking 10 milligrams of Ambien to achieve 7 hours of sleep per night – my nightly drug regimen until I started using the Fisher Wallace Stimulator. After the first ten days of using the Stimulator as directed, I was able to sleep 7.5 hours using only 7.5 milligrams of Ambien. That difference -- 2.5 mg/night -- might not seem like a lot, but that amounts to 900 mg – a three-months supply -- not being used over the course of a year. I feel MUCH better when I wake up the morning after I’ve used the Stimulator with the smaller amount of Ambien. Much less drymouth, and it only takes me a couple of minutes to wake up and feel fresh for the day, without turning to caffeine. The Stimulator is also extremely easy to use. I find that using it right at bedtime works best. I would recommend the Stimulator to anyone who has intractable insomnia and is trying to get a better night's sleep. It might not solve all your sleep problems, but you will feel much better and be able to cut back on chemical medications and other questionable therapies. - Al Lewis, President, Disease Management Purchasing Consortium, Author of Emerging Trends in Disease Management: 2009 and Beyond As I hit my forties, I found an increasing inability to sleep that wound up creeping into full-fledged insomnia. As much as I knew it was just anxiety, I was unable to curb it without the help of pharmaceuticals. I would try to take just a crumble of a dose, but it's a slippery slope with any sleep medication. I admit, I was a bit reluctant to strap electrodes onto my head and turn on the battery pack the first time. But when I found how effective it was, I was impressed. Within a few uses, I was finding that I could sleep a four or five hour stretch no problem. Then it began to increase to, more often than not, a full night's sleep. After a skeptical start, I'm a believer. - Peter Glatzer, Film Producer I remember feeling scattered. I was unable to think clearly or logically. I couldn’t organize anything. My thoughts blurred and my mind came to a halt. I was literally unable to speak and was stuck in a slump of serious depression. The limitations finally labeled me as disabled. My body was drained and longed for sleep, but as week after week went by, the escalating loss of sleep snowballed into an into an insomnia that resulted in dire consequences. But now I am nowhere near where I’ve been… Now, I can think logically and my thoughts make sense. I feel comfortably stable. My anxiety level has improved and my moods and emotions are much smoother. Insomnia is no longer an issue, and I am generally able to sleep a full night without disruption. The CES is super easy to use. For nearly a year, I’ve used the CES unit one or two times a day, and I experienced steady improvements in the way I think, feel, and go about my daily tasks and responsibilities. I am more focused and organized. I have published some articles, am working as a model and actor, and teach my dance students to the fullest. Without the support of the CES, I would still be in the midst of insurmountable struggles and would be completely non-functional. - Young Woman, North Carolina In 1980 I had a high fever illness for a week, during which I began having strange "spells." My Air Force discharge physical identified these spells as simple partial temporal lobe seizures. Over the last 34 years I have been on various epilepsy medications with their various unpleasant side effects. Partial seizures are notoriously difficult to control. In summer of 2010 I had another high fever illness (docs thought it was West Nile. Sed rate was 88). The quality and frequency of the seizures changed at that point. I would suddenly get very nauseated, and my mood would suddenly get very dark and depressed. Despite medications I continued to experience "break-through" seizure episodes. I retired. We were looking into the possibility of a vagal nerve stimulator (a very invasive and dangerous procedure) when my husband found your website. I have used your stimulator for three weeks now, and have only experienced one very short tonal episode, with no mood change. This is a BIG change for me. I am optimistic that I will continue to improve. Patients using the vagal nerve stimulator continued to improve for six months to even a year after implant, so I am hoping it will be the same with your device. PS: Other sources of pain have also improved, like my post surgery neck. Thank you so much for your work. Many Blessings!! - Rachel The Fisher Wallace device helped save my life, truly. I had been suffering from multiple chronic infections, Lyme disease, Bartonella and Babesia. The infections had entered my cerebral spinal fluid, thus my brain too, resulting in Lyme Meningitis, which went misdiagnosed for one year. After my initial diagnose of Lyme disease, I began treating that infection first, but at about one year into treatment, the combination of all these infections within my brain caused me to suffer an acute generalized anxiety disorder. This disorder was attributed directly to the chronic infections. It was a debilitating and life-altering experience. I was fortunate enough to be placed under the care of Dr. Stephen Xenakis. He suggested I try the Fisher Wallace device. I am very skeptical, but felt some comfort when he told me he used one too. The device seemed benign enough, so I gave it a try. I started using the machine two times a day for the first 45 days, and then dropped down to once a day in the morning as directed. The device made an immediate and positive improvement in the anxiety. So much so that my mother made an appointment and purchased one too! Using the device allowed me to taper off prescription medications used for anxiety that was being caused by the infections inside my brain. Sometimes I use the device at the higher setting to help with pain. I am a huge advocate of this device. I have recommended it to many people and they have even passed the recommendation along to others! The device really works. A non-prescriptive cure for anxiety, insomnia and pain seems to make sense to me! - Debra |
