Insurance Reimbursement Process
The Fisher Wallace Stimulator® has been approved by Medicaid in Maine (MaineCare); if you reside in Maine and receive Medicaid benefits, click here for more information. Many private insurance companies, such as Aetna, United Healthcare and Blue Cross, reimburse patients for the purchase of the Fisher Wallace Stimulator® when the device is used for the treatment of chronic or acute pain. Fisher Wallace does not process reimbursement claims on behalf of patients and recommends that patients contact their insurance provider to confirm coverage details. A letter of medical necessity may be required to obtain coverage. You may download a template of this letter. For more information on the reimbursement process, please click here.
